Snowboxx is a week long party in the stunning resort of Alvoriaz in the French Alps with 6000 attendees. With a large outdoor arena hosting performance from DJ’s and live acts, apes, igloo and forest parties plus other off slope activities – this is a festival like no other. Hosted in such extreme conditions the festival has unique challenges for safety – from logistics through to crowd management.
Safety is Snowboxx’s number one priority when they start to plan each year, and they have almost 300 staff that operate 24 hours a day with emergency procedures in place for any foreseeable incident. These include security, medics, fire teams and even the local Gendermarie.
